The 'Save' button will write all settings to a file. The 'Read' button tells LightBurn to read the settings from the controller (this happens automatically when you open the Machine Settings window). It's also a good idea to back up the initial settings before you change them, so you can go back to what you had if you make a mistake and can't remember what you did. The lower section, under 'Vendor Settings' are things usually configured for you by the factory and should only be changed if you have a good reason for doing so. The top section of the list is referred to as user settings - these are settings that are intended to be tunable by the user if necessary.
